How to reach us

Kochi is made up of gaggle of islands and peninsulas, including mainland Ernakulam, the island of Wellington, Bolgatty and Gundu Island in the harbour; Fort Cochin and Mattancherry on the southern peninsula; and Vypeen and Vallarpadam Islands north of Fort Cochin. All are linked by ferry, with bridges connecting eranakulam to Wellington Island andthe Fort Cochin. The new Goshree bridges link Eranakulam with Bolgatty, Vallarpadam and Vypeen Islands. The main train stations, bus stand and the KTDC tourist information centre are at Eranakulam.

• 7.5 kms from the Eranakulam railway station.(Autorkshw Rs 130)
• 1.5 kms from Goshree Bridge Landing.
• 22 kms to Cherai beach.
• 50 kms to Cochin International Airport (Taxis to airport around Rs750)
• Ferries are the fastest means of transport between the islands and mainland. Passenger ferries cross to Vypeen from FortCochin virtually non stop.
